 Do you, or does someone in your family have an allergy to certain foods if so then this class is for you. Even if you do not have allergies these recipes are so yummy you will enjoy this class. We will learn to make recipes without using dairy, eggs, gluten or sugar. Some of the recipes are Almond Flour Muffins, Yam & Walnut Cookies, a dairy free Cream Soup and a Tofu Quiche. Enjoy a meal at the end of the lesson, and bring some to go containers.

Come and experience some of the sumptuous Middle Eastern recipes that chef Sonja has collected. Learn how to make Falafel s (baked) from scratch including complementary dips and sauces like baba ganoush, tahini sauce and a Lemon lentil humus. As a side dish Sonja will teach a Quinoa Tabouli salad, this is a modern adaptation of a traditional recipe. Bring your appetite and enjoy a meal.

Holiday Treats


With the holiday season around the corner we are thinking about what new and exciting appetizers and baked goods we can serve holiday guests. How about some Savory,Sesame Tofu Balls and a Fig & Walnut Spread. Also learn to make some healthier gourmet sweets such as Cashew Crunch Balls and Mince Apple Tarts all made without refined sugar and wheat. There will be some hands on in this class, bring an apron. Flavourful Vegetarian Soups

 As we are going into winter Chef Sonja will teach some new soups that will warm you on those cold winter days. First you will learn the basics of a vegetable stock. The menu for the evening will be a Roasted squash & apple soup, a Thai Navy bean Soup and a Persian, Barley & Chickpea Soup.
